This resonance drew the attention of both orders many centuries ago. As scholar Herin Postik notes in his Planetary Survey of Koboh:
"Several monolithic temple structures of seemingly Jedi origin dot the Kobani landscape, leading historians to conclude both light and dark practitioners were drawn here due to the planet‘s abundance of Force-enhancing minerals."
It seems the Chamber of Connection dates back to this early Jedi migration. But why build an elaborate complex rather than simply meditating amidst Koboh‘s natural landscapes?
The Chamber‘s Concealed History
After analyzing glyphs along the Chamber‘s interior walls, I believe it initially served as a secret sanctuary – a refuge to guard Jedi children during times of persecution. Various carvings depict younglings training under the vigilance of robed sentinels wielding the distinctive armor and polearms of Jedi Temple Guards.
When external threats receded, the Chamber may have transformed into a rite of passage location for students to test their mastery over the Force and their minds. Pressure plates, optical laser redirection, and timed obstacles would challenge even veteran Jedi dexterity and foresight. Those who succeeded unlocked deeper insight from stored relics and holocrons.
Of course with the Jedi Temple on Coruscant serving as the Order‘s primary training site for over a thousand generations, knowledge of the Chamber likely faded into obscurity after the initial founding period. Only upon extensive archaeological study has its extensive history now reemerged.
Ascending the Cliffside Journey
But enough background – let me guide you to the Chamber entrance itself! As mentioned, it lies secluded in Koboh‘s Viscid Bog region. Seek out a meditation circle amidst the humid marsh – a beacon signalling your proximity to the temple. Glance skyward and you‘ll notice a pair of ziplines crisscrossing overhead.
Ziplines and Wall Grapples
Use the first line to sail across the surrounding lake. But don‘t get comfortable! Press jump at the midpoint to release your tether and latch onto the perpendicular track. Safely reach the terminus landing pad and a sheer ridge awaits nearby.

But as you step forward, banks of pale kyber crystals embedded in the surrounding columns flicker with opalescent light. You stand inside the Chamber‘s majestic antechamber!
Awestruck by the vibrant glow, you may fail to notice the intricate details etched into every surface. Not mere decoration – these cryptic symbols serve as guidance for any Initiates undertaking the Chamber‘s trials. I will elucidate their meaning shortly.
For now, head towards an octagonal disc inset on the central dais. Applying pressure triggers hidden counterweights – a stone orb emerges from stasis, ripe for manipulating with the Force. But this is no mere Dok-Ondar antiquity…
Unlocking the Laser Grid Gateway
Use your Psychokinesis to tow the newly unfurled sphere across the antechamber into an unlit brazier. This awakens the pyramidal capstone above – its kyber heart blazing with violet effulgence! Twin prongs redirect this plasma beam across the chamber into a parabolic disc receiver. From there the path continues down through the dais, emerging to blanket a section of the eastern frieze.
A Force-wielder may intuit the purpose of this laser grid array. But for the unaware, I shall explain. You must open pathways beyond the antechamber using BD-1‘s Koboh Grinder. By patching nodes in the grid, entranceways open to deeper enclaves.

Koboh Grinder Opens the Path
Standing at the pyramid‘s base, activate your companion droid‘s Grinder apparatus. Bursts of plasma now splatter the stone underfoot. Using BD-1‘s external cameras, trace a path from the violet emission point towards the eastern mural lining the chamber. Continue routing the sizzling discharge upwards, searing a line across the ceiling until intersecting with…a pitch void!
This hollow exudes an unnatural darkness – an obstruction you must burn through! Push the Grinder‘s trail into the anomaly‘s epicenter. Within moments the plasma takes hold, dissolving the blockage in spectacular fashion. An arched entranceway now breaches the mural – your ticket to the puzzles beyond.

When the oral myths first referenced this miraculous cogitator substance able to permeate otherwise impervious bulwarks, I will admit to some skepticism regarding its validity. Yet here stands the proof before my eyes! A paragon of efficacious engineering only possible thanks to BD-1‘s unbridled creativity.
Now let us proceed through the freshly seared gateway and tackle the chamber‘s elaborate spatial puzzles!
This initial network of tunnels appears deliberately non-linear – a labyrinth to obscure and protect regions deeper inward. Furthermore, extensive erosion has caused immense segments of the path to crumble away. Reaching the centralized chamber will require dexterous vaulting across vast gaps.
Consider Cal‘s Newfound Agility
Fortunately, Cal Kestis‘ escapades between Fallen Order and Survivor have honed newfound physical talents ready to overcome such obstacles. The years spent scrapping with a smorgasbord of Prime‘s scum in the seaside salvage yards have certainly kept his acrobatics sharp!
But even more crucially, Cal can now fixture-hop with the greatest Wind Runners on Bar‘leth Prime thanks to an astounding move – the Force Dash! This new skill cranks Cal‘s mobility to 12, rocketing him across divides previously demanding tedious cable rides.
To successfully traverse the chamber, properly combine this Dash with directional leaping. Look for glittering handholds guiding your route across the caverns. Vault upwards into the walls themselves to reach formerly inaccessible tiers filled with tempting treasure!
Shifting Architecture Demands Mental Flexibility
Ah, but the chamber‘s trials require more than gymnastic feats – they test mental adaptability as well! Your path may suddenly shift thanks to the facility‘s shifting architecture. Sections of the floor raise or lower when stepped upon. Wall facades slide across passageways altering their contour.
Keen memory and spatial reasoning become vital to charting your course through the morphing grid. Tread with care and keep alert to deviations in the terrain that may force reconsideration of your planned path. Call upon your inner holotable manipulator to mentally map routes that open and close depending on trigger points.
Let me provide some examples…
Redirecting the Laser Grid
Having crossed the initial pit, lighting dimly exposes a raised pressure tile on your right. Step atop it, lowering an adjacent platform and sliding the eastern wall southwards. This obstruction now blocks the laser grid from reaching your position!
To re-align the beam, jump down and find the alternate floor switch on the western block. This resets the wall alignment. Now with the laser active once more, utilize BD-1 to route the Koboh trail upwards into a small shaft. This burns through another ceiling blockage, allowing access deeper inside from overhead hatches.

Admittedly while the changing architecture initially overwhelmed my cognitive mapping capacity, patience revealed the underlying logic. Once identifying tile triggers and wall slide patterns, adapting on the fly became second nature. Internalizing this spatial sequence puzzle is crucial for later completion.
The Bridge of Awakening
Having burned through the second obstruction, an open cavern looms ahead containing…nothing! No visible exits or interactive elements from initial observation. But through closer inspection, my honed Holocron whispers mention of an Awakening bridge beyond a sealed gate.
Scour the rocky precipices with macrobinocular intensity and a related clue materializes – small cyclic indentations marking specific wall plateaus. Could these signify remoteness anchors for absentee artifacts? Acting upon suspicion, I attune my psychokinetic grasp towards these vacant hollows. Success – spheres tear from their stony recesses into my clenched Force!
Restoring the Bridge
But lacking attention, they clatter into the void. Maneuvering the spheres into neighboring sockets proves unwieldy. Instead return to the previous corridor – additional anchors exist here at accessible heights. Wrench two replacements from their homes and ferry them into the vacant chamber. Insert the duo into the eastern and western anchor point, energizing the gate telekinetically!
The awakened portal parts, illuminating a severed walkway beyond now reconnected by the hovering spheres! However, severed seams crackling with crimson discharge still mar its midsection. We require another sphere to fully restore safe passage across the span.
Koboh Grid Restoration
A twin to our awakening anchor must exist here…aha! Spotted atop a raised balcony through the mended gate, a lonely bracket ages without its sphere. Guide BD-1 to travel upward and melt through the mystical black barriers leading to the apex. From this overlook the full majesty of the chamber is visible!
Now mark the lonely anchor – use the Force to wrench that final orb free from its decaying roost. Hurl it to connect perfectly into the center bridge section. Sanctified restoration magic immediately smoothes over lingering cracks as the awakening bridge completes! Cross through the gate to stand upon this interdimensional highway. At long last the sacred inner sanctum is achievable!
Unlocking the Holocron Vault
Having crossed the metaphysical bridge into the heart of the Jedi Temple, an effulgent blast of mural artistry materializes on the crypt inner walls. Tales depicting the earliest followers of Ashla – primitive wielders shown harnessing their innate psychokinetic talents against all manner of threats and trials. Prominently featured are four-armed creatures generating and manipulating vibrant spheres of light-side energy against their dark assailants.
Tales designed to inspire future acolytes towards moral clarity and purpose. Yet a grim void smears across the middle mural, obstructing your access to the central altar. BD-1 hesitates, clearly intimidated by the stain‘s unnatural aura of entropy. But your past journeys through the psychometric Force have honed mental fortitude. With urging, BD-1 sprays a weaved network of Koboh, burning another blemish from reality.
Collect the Chamber‘s Ancient Holocrons!
With the obstruction eliminated, ascend the dais to witness Jedi antiquity reborn! Before you sits a stone reliquary emitting familiar teal and gold radiance. The last intact Holocron vault on a thousand worlds since the Coruscant cache purge…could such lost wisdom still exist for collection? Surely temptation to preserve this knowledge outweighs any politically-motivated censure.
Reach out with the Force and the final gate parts, unveiling four gleaming Holocrons of varying design – relics predating even Master Skywalker‘s reconstructed Order! Plus additional crystal shards and Force infusions granting +12 Wisdom if applied to your equipment loadout! Secure this lost arcane arsenal and carry forth the Chamber‘s teachings to ignite hope across the stars. The Jedi foundation endures!
