1. Grafted Blade Greatsword

One of the earliest available colossal swords, the Grafted Blade Greatsword rips apart enemies with raw brute strength. It has a moveset with wide, forceful swings that break stances quickly. When upgraded to +10, it reaches a staggering 613 attack power with S-strength scaling. The weapon skill "Oath of Vengeance” enhances your next attack while holding a battle pose.

To get it, defeat the boss Leonine Misbegotten at Castle Morne in the Weeping Peninsula. This flesh-bound blade will carry you far through the early and mid stages of the game.

Stats at +10

  • Strength Scaling: S
  • Weight: 21.0
  • Skill: Oath of Vengeance

2. Giant-Crusher

If pure devastating force is what you seek, look no further than the colossally powerful Giant-Crusher. This greathammer demands 60 strength to wield one-handed, but slams with enough earth-shaking force to flatten enemies and bosses with ease. The R2 attack sees your character laboriously lifting this weapon above their head before smashing it down to decimate foes. Even late game enemies get staggered in 2-3 jumps from the Giant-Crusher.

To obtain it, defeat the Giant Crusher enemies wielding the weapon at Castle Sol in Mountaintops of the Giants.

I used this +10 with 60 strength to flatten the Fire Giant boss. The sheer posture damage lets you rip through its health. Highly recommended for super late game enemies.

3. Ruins Greatsword

Despite its relatively thin size for an ultra greatsword, the Ruins Greatsword hits surprisingly hard with physical and magic damage combined. It‘s imbued with ancient sorceries, enabling the Ruins Greatsword to bypass more magic defenses compared to pure physical weapons. The “Gravity Well” weapon skill calls down cascading shards of gravitational rock to heavily damage grouped up enemies.

Defeat the Shardbearer Starscourge Radahn at Redmane Castle to obtain this weapon. Having 30 strength and 30 intelligence makes it easiest to wield.

4. Great Stars

Don’t let the shabby, mundane appearance of the Great Stars flail fool you – this strength weapon brings hidden dangers! While fairly slow and short ranged, the Great Stars inflicts heavy bleed buildup on struck enemies, causing massive damage to even armor-clad foes. Its Endure skill also boosts attack for a duration. Fully upgraded, it boasts 603 attack with S-strength scaling. The “Lion‘s Claw” weapon skill brings the fist guard crashing down while slashing for additional damage.

After felling the tracing black blade Maliketh in Elphael, you can acquire his sword for yourself as one of the best boss soul weapons. The Destined Death skill sees you aggressively spinning the blade several times around you while advancing, just like Maliketh. This vicious weapon makes short work of crowds while building bleed rapidly.

It‘s Colossal Weapon skill “Skull Crusher” brings the skull crashing down after a delayed slam for extremely high poise damage.

The Pickaxe +25 let me stagger even the Full Grown Fallingstar Beast in just 2-3 jumps. It may not have flashy skills, but 25 weight goes a LONG way!

10. Duelist Greataxe

With its unique design of disjointed axe blades chained along the handles, the Duelist Greataxe resembles an ornamental weapon for performances and rituals. But fully upgraded, it hits brutally hard with S-strength scaling and 475 max attack! The weapon skill “Corpse Wax Cutter” enhances your next attack, letting you chop down bosses with enhanced strikes.
