Steelrising‘s Best Weapons for Rebel Supremacy

As an experienced player with over 200 hours across multiple class builds, I‘ve slain countless automatons with Steelrising‘s broad arsenal. But progression-minded rebels know every upgrade matters in the fight against King Louis XVI‘s mechanical army.

That‘s why I‘ve put together this definitive tier list ranking Steelrising‘s weapons from the irreplaceable S-tier greats to the serviceable but outclassed options. I‘ll be evaluating damage output, crowd control abilities, scalability, and more to determine what armaments serve Aegis best in her uprising.

Equip the elite options suggested here and watch the enemy force fall before you!

Rating Methodology

To judge each weapon fairly, I used a 100 point rating scale monitoring five key attributes:

Damage (30 points) – Weapon‘s physical + elemental DPS output
Crowd Control (20 points) – Knockbacks, immobilization, area denial attacks
Scalability (15 points) – Stat scaling benefits from investment
Unique Attacks (20 points) – Special moves granting tactical advantages
Accessibility (15 points) – Difficulty obtaining early when it matters most

I then grouped them into four tiers accordingly, with S-tier (85-100 points) representing pinnacle best-in-class options and C-tier (60-74 points) covering viable but easily outdone picks.

Now let‘s reveal Steelrising‘s arms elite!

S-Tier: Rebel Supremacy

The S-tier weapons stand so far above the competition that no build is complete without them. Their sheer damage outputs allow you to shred through towards the Rebellion.

★★★★★ Nemesis Claws

Nemesis Claws

Damage: 9/10
Crowd Control: 7/10
Scalability: 10/10
Unique Attacks: Counterattack
Accessibility: 8/10

Total: 95/100

These vicious arm blades combine high base damage with the perfect evasive counterattack ability to enable daring point-blank timing-focused builds.

I maximize their potential even further in my Dancer class by scaling agility for Critical Strikes before darting into the fray, parrying blows to unleash lethal counters. Few weapons reward audacious reflex-dependent play so richly with raw damage.

Plus, the Nemesis Claws are readily accessible just two hours in. Defeat Lady Elisabeth Seveny‘s Dancer boss fight through the "Dance of Death" Angel Side Quest and they‘re yours!

They‘ll serve you faithfully from Novice Rebel straight through to General of the Resistance thanks to their pinnacle-level power. All dancers must enlist their services!

★★★★★ Charleville Musket

Charleville Musket

Damage: 8/10
Crowd Control: 10/10
Scalability: 10/10
Unique Attacks: Freeze Ammo
Accessibility: 8/10

Total: 96/10

This formidable frost-infused rifle is my top recommendation for all alchemist builds thanks to its superb range and immense crowd control potential.

By pumping Alchemy, I amplify the Charleville Musket‘s immobilizing ice blasts to freeze entire platoons in their tracks from a safe distance. Once frozen stiff, they make easy prey for Sharon‘s incendiary bombs tossed into their midst.

The sheer area denial and damage-over time burn potential makes short work of any automata force. I can single-handedly dominate the battlefield with this exceptional firearm alone.

Best of all, the gun becomes available early by defeating Danton in an optional duel. Once found, its services may never be needed nor afforded to be replaced again. All alchemists should enlist it as a first recruit!

★★★★★ Fire Chain

Fire Chain

Damage: 10/10
Crowd Control: 8/10
Scalability: 10/10
Unique Attacks: Fire Invocation
Accessibility: 6/10

Total: 94/100

This blazing bladed whip forged by Vulcan himself serves as the damage crown jewel of my collection. Through immense strength, agility, AND alchemy scaling, I catalyze its already scorching DPS into utterly apocalyptic levels.

Activating its namesake Fire Invocation sends the weapon into an incinerating frenzy, delivering colossal damage-per-second to obliterate the most resilient automatons with ease.

The Fire Chain does demand patience though, available only after progressing through Madame Fourcault‘s lengthy side quest chain to access her estate. But its otherworldly offense rewards investment better than any other armament in Steelrising.

A-Tier: First Class Rebel Infantry

A-tier weapons represent Steelrising‘s most well-rounded options just below the elite status of S-tier. Think of them as the immaculately trained veterans forming the backbone of your rebellion.

★★★★☆ Wheels of Vengeance

Wheels of Vengeance

Damage: 9/10
Crowd Control: 8/10
Scalability: 7/10
Unique Attacks: Knockback Counter
Accessibility: 7/10

Total: 85/100

These circular sawblades on bracers epitomize raw brute force destruction. With up-close damage rivaling even the almighty Fire Chain through sheer weapon impact alone, nothing withstands their shredding for long.

But the Wheels‘ real crown jewel lies in their unique chance-based counterattack delivering violent knockback kicks upon blocking strikes incapacitating enemies caught off-guard.

Paired with strong power for heavy armor damage scaling and mittigation with the right reforms and technical crushes, and the Wheels tear apart infantry with abandon.

Find them off the hulking Cyborg Chirugeon boss in the hospital to recruit these juggernaut bracers.

★★★★☆ Falchion and Saber

Falchion Saber

Damage: 8/10
Crowd Control: 6/10
Scalability: 10/10
Unique Attacks: Blade Storm
Accessibility: 8/10

Total: 84/100

These swift rapiers serve as best-in-class options for dancers relying on rapid critical strikes to dismantle adversaries before they can react thanks flawless agility scaling boosting crit damage through the roof.

While their base damage proves modest on paper, repeated perfectly-timed strikes enhanced by alchemical weapon oils and my level 99 Dance of Death swift strikes reform fill foes‘ posture bars rapidly, exposing them to brutal, unblockable, one-shot finishing techniques with ease.

Activating their Blade Storm whirling ultimate Ability then inflicts punishing area-of-effect damage on surrounding hordes. Hot swappable for specialized scenarios thanks to random drops off standard enemies, these weapons make sublime backup dancers always ready for the stage!

B-Tier Support Infantry

The B-Tier weapons all serve capably either as early game staples or specialized tools for niche builds. Consider them as dependable squad fillers bulking out the ranks.

★★★☆☆ Roma‘s Partisan

Roma's Partisan

Damage: 8/10
Crowd Control: 7/10
Scalability: 10/10
Unique Attacks: Chain Lightning
Accessibility: 5/10

Total: 80/100

Boasting the pinnacle power scalability in Steelrising, this electrified spear transitions from useful early game poke to an end game lynchpin delivering thunderous chain lightning demolition across the battlefield.

It lacks flair, but fulfills the soldier class fantasy beautifully by rewarding brute force investments with the tools necessary to bulldoze all initial resistance through raw damage and AoE crowd control alone.

Be sure to track down its locked away blueprints in the royal arms stores early to enable tearing platoons asunder!

★★★☆☆ Hephaestus Flame Batons

Hephaestus Batons

Damage: 5/10
Crowd Control: 8/10
Scalability: 10/10
Unique Attacks: Volley of Flame
Accessibility: 10/10

Total: 83/100

These twin scepters start weak, but gain apocalyptic strength through their astronomical alchemy scaling, their true value lying in excellent crowd control from extended range.

Specifically, the Volley of Flame ultimate coats entire city blocks in a sea of fire, stunlocking automatons helplessly as they burn while also building mana towards Sharon‘s next incineration.

Obtained halfway through the "Rats to Ashes" early game quest, these weapons nicely cover alchemists until late game options arrive. Their Guerrilla -style AoE offense remains relevant permanently however against clusters.

C-Tier: Recruit Trainees

Finally C-Tier weapons, while usable, ultimately fall short of fulfilling their duties compared to higher tier options. Consider them green trainees just shipped out needing further training before reaching their potential.

I‘d suggest replacing them once additional equipment comes available unless a specific build calls their niche abilities.

★★☆☆☆ Overseer‘s Mallet

Overseer's Mallet

Damage: 7/10
Crowd Control: 2/10
Scalability: 5/10
Unique Attacks: None
Accessibility: 8/10

Total: 66/100

This early game ultra-heavy weapon rewards pure strength focused builds with solid damage for low investment costs thanks to its attached cannon amplifying damage further.

But mediocre movesets combined with weak crowd control hamper its tactical applications severely. The mallet flat out struggles handling multiple enemies at once. I used it initially before switching upon entering the mid-game.

feel free to bash unaware lone sentries at close range. But against the mechanical army? I‘d advise stronger options.

★★☆☆ ☆Dual Axes

Dual Axes

Damage: 6/10
Crowd Control: 3/10
Scalability: 3/10
Unique Attacks: Cyclone
Accessibility: 7/10

Total: 64/100

These small hatchets offer early game potential through their projectile absorption gimmick. But fast enemies relentlessly punish their sluggish unwieldy animations.

And even landing blows struggles breaking through armor with low damage, no crowd control, and being the single worst strength scaling weapon type in the game not playing to soldier strengths whatsoever.

Their niche windmill Cyclone ultimate deals mediocre damage incapable of saving the awkward axes from battlefield irrelevance almost immediately. Go forsake these and seek better weapons instead.

Conclusion

And there you have it! My conclusive verdict on every weapon Aegis can wield in her automata-destroying journey through Steelrising‘s revolution. S-tier ruled the battlefield naturally But remain open even to niche tools situational applications.

I hope evaluating the analytical ratings methodology and explanations behind each weapon‘s capabilities helps all prospective rebels determine their own ideal arsenal composition against the mechanical menace.

Now get out there, equip the very best cutting edge technology, and let none obstruct the people‘s Resistance! What will be YOUR signature weapon dismantling Louis‘ despotic legions? Let everyone know in the comments below!
