Naraka Bladepoint Weapon Tier List: Ranking the Best Weapons

Naraka Bladepoint weapons

Welcome to my comprehensive Naraka Bladepoint weapon tier list. In this guide, I‘ll be ranking all 14 weapons in Naraka Bladepoint based on factors like overall viability, damage, utility, and ease of use. I‘ve spent hundreds of hours testing and mastering the weapons in Naraka Bladepoint to provide detailed analysis on why some weapons are better than others.

For those unfamiliar, Naraka: Bladepoint features an exciting blend of melee combat and parkour movement. You battle up to 60 players in a mythological Eastern fantasy world inspired by 14th century China and Southeast Asia. Each weapon type offers a distinctive playstyle and must be wielded strategically to triumph in battle.

Without further ado, let‘s dive into the Naraka: Bladepoint weapon tier list rankings from best to worst:

S Tier: Longsword

Longsword

The longsword is hands down the best weapon in Naraka Bladepoint. It‘s got it all – good range, high damage, quick slashes, solid combos, and a useful leap attack for covering distance and interrupting enemies. The longsword also has very few weaknesses, making it a top-tier choice for new and veteran players alike. With balanced attributes across the board, you‘ll feel nimble and deadly with a longsword in your hands.

S Tier: Spear

Spear

Poking and prodding with surgical precision, the spear takes the #2 spot. It boasts the longest reach in the game, allowing you to dance around foes and pick them apart from a safe distance. The charged attack also does a massive amount of damage, capable of ending a fight in few well-timed thrusts. The spear‘s fast, fluid attacks make it very easy to wield, too. Overall, it has no substantial weaknesses. You can‘t go wrong with a spear at your side.

S Tier: Dagger

Dagger

The dagger clinches 3rd place on our tier list. What the dagger lacks in range, it makes up for in blistering attack speed and lethal combos. Weaving in and out of combat unscathed thanks to a quick dash ability, the dagger can unleash flurries of attacks in the blink of an eye. It boasts the highest damage-per-second potential in skilled hands. The dagger also boasts useful defensive counters, allowing combos to flow together seamlessly. If played well, it can be unstoppable.

S Tier: Nunchaku

Nunchaku

The humble nunchaku cracks the top 4 weapons due to its deceptive versatility and blinding attack speed. Its swing arcs offer great crowd control against groups while light strings dish out punishing damage to solitary foes. But the true strength of the nunchaku lies in its parry counters, which knock opponents off-balance and severely drain their stamina if chained skillfully. Once you master its complex moveset, you‘ll be whirling and twirling your way to victory regularly. The nunchaku takes dedication to handle well but repays in kind.

A Tier: Katana

Katana

Slicing and dicing at lightning speed, the katana is one of the most well-rounded weapons in Naraka Bladepoint. Sure, its standard lunge and slashes aren‘t anything special but its other abilities allow it to dominate skirmishes. With a quick dash helping you enter and exit fights on your terms plus multiple area-of-effect abilities that decimate groups, the katana is a weapon worth investing time into. It also features nice combo routes that synchronize well. The katana struggles against range but makes up for it in raw damage and versatility.

A Tier: Bow

Bow

Far from a one-trick pony gimmick weapon, the bow has incredible utility that deserves its high ranking. Of course, the bow unleashes deadly precision shots from long range. This lets you dictate the tempo of fights and whittle down enemies before committing to melee. The arrow rain ability also blankets areas in damage. But the mobility options greatly bolster its versatility as well. You can climb tall structures while aiming for a superior vantage point. And the grapple arrow lets you cover huge distances in an instant. The bow‘s high skill floor means you must learn to aim well yet rewards patience and creativity handsomely.

B Tier: Greatsword

Greatsword

Big damage, big problems for opponents. The oversized greatsword can bombard foes with punishing crushing blows and sweeps. Playing defensively yet capitalizing on counter windows is key with this slow titan. Although not the flashest weapon around due to its lumbering swings and restricted combos, the long-range pokes help control distance while occasionally unleashing charged slashes to obliterate anyone daring enough for close combat. Just be careful not to grow overzealous mid-fight since stamina drains rapidly while whiffing huge swings.

B Tier: Gauntlets

Gauntlets

Deceiving opponents with tricky swings and counters, the metal fist gauntlets pack quite a punch. While boasting poor range, the gauntlets make up for it with versatile attack vectors and combos that loop well together. By mixing up high and low sweeps with the occasional leaping fist, you can lock enemies in guesswork while darting around unleashing fists of fury. It takes clever leverage of mechanics like impact-activated buffs and attack cancels to make the most of the gauntlets. Yet the payoff proves well worth it.

C Tier: Repeating Crossbow

Repeating Crossbow

Capable of saturating areas with bolts, the repeating crossbow offers reliable ranged damage and area control albeit with caveats. It can safely chip away at enemy health bars from a distance while keeping them pinned down under barrages. However, reloading leaves you vulnerable for painfully long durations so make every bolt count. The crossbow requires clever shot leading as well since the projectiles arc slowly, making scoring lethal hits on agile heroes difficult. Positioning is also paramount since the crossbow loses most close-range duels outright. So while strong situationally, it has glaring weaknesses preventing a higher ranking.

D Tier: Flameblade

Flameblade

The flameblade suffers an identity crisis. On one end lies a shortsword capable of quick consecutive strikes. On the other, a projectile launcher alternates firing single fireballs. Unfortunately, both playstyles feel underwhelming compared to specialized weapons covering similar niches. Up close, the flameblade pales next to faster, harder-hitting options while its sluggish fireballs get easily dodged, negating ranged potential. Without excelling distinctly or synergizing effectively, the flameblade feels lackluster and awkward more often than not. It sadly fails to ignite much excitement.

D Tier: Cannon

Cannon

Boasting only a single-shot playstyle, the hefty cannon suffers heavily from steep limitations. It must be aimed carefully since you only get one cannonball per lengthy reload. Missing wastes immense time and leaves youhelpless. The projectile itself also has an arcing trajectory that‘s tricky to consistently land on nimble fighters. However, scoring direct cannon hits drops foes instantly in a small area. Skilled prediction and opportune ambushes can reward greatly but the cannon still remains far too unwieldy for serious viability compared to safer, more reliable weapons.

F Tier: Soulfist

Soulfist

A slow, clunky joke in dire need of buffs. The soulfist gauntlets severely lack range or impact compared to standard melee weapons. You must get dangerously close to unleash weak combos filled with redundant punches lacking flair or functionality. It also sports zero crowd control or mobility perks. Charging soulfire blasts can pressure at range when available yet the lengthy preparation leaves you wide open with no insurance the sluggish projectile will connect anyway. With awful risk-reward ratios all around, the soulfist currently has next to no redeeming qualities. Avoid it.

And there you have it – the definitive Naraka Bladepoint weapon tier list ranking all 14 options available as of writing. While the weapons higher in S and A tiers tend to perform the best on average, every armament can prove lethal pending proper mastery. So don‘t afraid to experiment with multiple styles during your adventures.

I hope this overview gives newer Naraka Bladepoint players advice on which weapons excel early on as well as where to best invest time progressing. But the beauty of Naraka‘s combat system means no single choice reigns utterly supreme either. Just be sure to play towards strengths while minimizing weaknesses.
