Forspoken Trophy Guide: Unlocking Every Achievement

As a passionate gamer who has sunk over 200 hours into Forspoken, I‘ve unlocked every single trophy along the way. While the platinum journey wasn‘t easy, it was extremely rewarding.

In this ultimate trophy guide, I‘ll share everything I‘ve learned about unlocking Forspoken‘s entire trophy list – from common bronzes to ultra rare golds.

Forspoken Trophy Overview

Across PlayStation and PC, Forspoken contains:

  • 1 ultra rare Platinum Trophy
  • 2 exceptionally rare Gold Trophies
  • 7 uncommon Silver Trophies
  • 20 common Bronze Trophies
  • 20 hidden Bronze Trophies
  • 7 rare hidden Silver Trophies
  • 2 very rare hidden Gold Trophies

That totals up to a whopping 53 trophies for completionist gamers like myself to obsess over.

While many trophies unlock naturally, others require hours of grinding difficult challenges. My aim is to prepare you for everything needed on the road to 100% completion.

Platinum Trophy

Earning every other trophy automatically unlocks the prestigous Platinum, a true badge of honor in the gaming community.

As a trophy collector, glimpsing that ultra rare Platinum pop felt incredible after my 200 hour journey.

Attaining it demands dedication across three trophy types:

  • Story Trophies: Unlock over the course of the main campaign
  • Collectible Trophies: Finding all collectibles/points of interest
  • Mastery Trophies: Maxing out stats and upgrading all skills

With strategic time investments, you too can make your platinum dreams a reality!

Now let‘s break things down by trophy rarity.

Gold Trophies

Forspoken‘s gold trophies demand incredible feats of strength and dedication. They include:

Abominizer

Defeat all 4 Abomination bosses

I estimate this notorious trophy eats 15-20 hours of attempts before finally defeating every grueling abomination-type enemy.

Abominations are practically mini bosses with lethal attacks and mountainous health bars. Half the battle is avoiding their constant barrage of devastating blows.

My gear loadout here focused heavily on defense/damage resistance so I could survive the onslaughts. Slow and steady wins the race. I also made ample use of Cure pots/Edibles to outlast their health.

Ultimately, it came down to mastering attack patterns over multiple heartbreaking failed attempts. But finally landing that last winning blow felt incredible!

Archivist

Unlock 80% of archives

Expect this trophy to take 30+ hours dedicating to completing side content like errands and historians quests alongside the main story episodes.

I‘d estimate I averaged 2 archive unlocks every 15 minutes during dedicated sessions. It‘s a marathon, not a sprint!

Use online guides to pinpoint all possible archive entries and their locations in order to minimize wasted time.

Silver Trophies

Next up are the seven uncommon silver trophies:

Awakening

Finish Chapter 12

This story trophy unlocks automatically over the course of the later chapters, but expect 5+ hours of gameplay finishing this climactic finale.

I wish the main villain put up more of a fight in the end! Nonetheless, an enjoyable end to Frey‘s epic journey.

Call of the Fount: Saint

Attain blessings from all 12 Founts of Blessing

Plan for 3 hours of exploration locating glowing founts scattered everywhere from Visoria to the Breach.

Unlocking new traversal abilities while opening fast travel made the search exciting. Use your map constantly to avoid wasting time rechecking cleared zones.

Explorer: Pathfinder

Discover 50 points of interest

POIs refer to landmarks, vistas, secrets and other discoverable areas. Expect to sink 10-15 hours wandering Athia‘s diverse biomes marking spots along your travels.

I utilized online POI maps to optimize my route, minimizing duplicate visits to zones. Tick them off one by one until hitting the 50 mark.

Now let‘s move onto those rewarding bronze trophies.

Bronze Trophies

While found in abundance, certain bronze trophies still challenged my skills:

Above and Beyond

Fully upgrade every spell

Prepare for 5 hours constantly battling to pile up enough mana to upgrade each spell.

I suggest targeting upgrading cost reduction first so all future upgrades become cheaper. Start by maxing out utility powers like Evade, Sprint and Float to facilitate quicker mobility during tougher battles.

Don‘t neglect weapon-based mana regen either – your main source of mana comes from landing basic fira/aero/aqua combo chains.

A Roaring Trade

Trade poppets for all 4 possible merchant items

Hunting down poppets took 90 minutes scouring every Cipal corner. I earned roughly 5 poppets per cat chased down.

NPC merchant trades refresh daily, so on launch day I bought the nugget, pelerine, bumbershoot and strength charm.

If any items are sold out, advance 24 hours by camping to refresh vendor inventory. Easy trophy once you pile up enough poppets!

Call of the Fount: Baptized

Gain first fount blessing

This tutorial trophy pops immediately after jumping into your first glowing fount, automatically granting Frey enhanced traversal. Took me just 5 minutes starting up the game!

Cat Person

Befriend every ‘Tanta‘s Familiar‘ cat statue

Plan for 60-90 minutes here locating and interacting with all dozen cat monuments.

I used online maps to optimize my route across zones. Make sure to pet each cat upon discovery – don‘t just walk away after initial contact!

Craftsperson

Craft healing items and gear for Frey

This unlocked organically after I crafted potions/oils 30 minutes into my playthrough.

Loot supply crates everywhere to stock up on ingredients so you can start crafting ASAP.

Let‘s keep the momentum going into hidden trophies!

Hidden Trophies

These secret trophies demand precision gameplay…

Bronze

The Interloper – Defeat the Recreant Knight boss

This tricky hidden trophy took me 6 attempts until finally slaying the chapter 3 miniboss. I struggled avoiding his paralysis spell – getting stuck frozen absolutely destroys your survivability since you can‘t dodge or heal.

The key turned out to be saving mana exclusively for using Evade/Sprint to escape paralysis, only counter-attacking with basic weapon attacks during safe openings. Fight patiently rather than aggressively!

Wildfire – Kill enemy under Tangled debuff

Tangled status chains enemies to the ground, prime for slaying!

I lured enemies near environmental hazards before blasting them with Bind. Then amid their immobilization, I bombarded them with heavy Finnick attacks to claim the trophy in 5 minutes.

The extra crowd control helped land kill shots while they couldn‘t fight back. Teamwork makes the dream work!

Silver

Call of the Fount: Saint – Attain all Fount blessings

I doubled up my efforts from the Baptized trophy, hoofing across the entirety of Athia to uncover all dozen blessing founts.

It ultimately took 180 minutes locating and unlocking every traversal power upgrade. But that sweet silver trophy pop was worth all the legwork!

Paragon – Learn every spell

This shockingly took me 15 hours in total – almost as long as completing the main story!

I religiously spent mana to learn new spells after every story beat rather than hoarding it for upgrades. Avoid my mistake and balance your mana spending!

Gold

Last but not least, we have the phenomenally rare gold trophies…

Archivist

As described previously, this grueling trophy demanded 30+ hours dedicated to filling archives from all activities.

Just when I thought the grind was over after finishing all side quests, historians kept offering even more challenging bonus objectives upon completion!

But fighting through the fatigue and eyeing that 80% mark finally pop felt spectacular. Another proud showcase trophy!

Abominizer

Also covered above, this may be the most controller-throwingly-frustrating trophy I‘ve ever earned.

15-20 hours of nonstop abomination battles pushed my combat skills to their limits.

Ultimately, keeping my cool and persevering through enhancements and clever strategizing led to glorious victory!

So don‘t ever give up on your trophy aspirations my friends! Where there‘s a will (and enough potions) there‘s a way.

Closing Thoughts
