What Are Hunts in Final Fantasy 16?
Hunts are special battles versus powerful enemies known as Marks. Defeating Hunt Marks earns you plenty of rewards:
- Gil (in-game currency)
- Rare crafting materials
- Ability Points to unlock skills
- Renown to progress the story
- EXP to level up faster
To unlock Hunts, you must first gain access to the Hunt Board by completing the Main Quest “The Gathering Storm.” The Hunt Board shows the location of Hunt Marks on the world map.
However, you usually need to finish certain quests before some Marks become available. The higher the Mark‘s rank (from C to A to S), the tougher the battle will be. But you‘ll also get better rewards.
