Although Microsoft SharePoint is a big part of my life, I don’t usually blog about it very much here on my personal blog. I do most of my SharePoint blogging at the SharePoint Solutions blog. However, here is some information that I thought was appropriate for this blog as well.
I will be one of the speakers at the SharePoint Information Workers Conference in Nashville, Tennessee the first week of February. If you register this week–before December 1st–you will save $200!
On Sunday, I’ll be teaching a pre-conference workshop on SharePoint 2007 Fundamentals. This will be a highly condensed version of the popular 4-day Applying SharePoint 2007 – Core Features course which I wrote with Asif Remani and have taught numerous times around the country. I am also currently scheduled to speak once each day of the conference. My session topics will be:
- New Tools for Content Re-use in MOSS 2007
- Custom workflows for Information Workers: Using InfoPath and SharePoint Workflow Designer to create no-code workflow applications
- De-mystifying the MOSS 2007 Single sign-on feature
Although the target audiences for this conference are Information Workers, and most of the content is “non-technical”, even the hardcore techies that read my blog are sure to reap some benefits as well. Anyone that uses SharePoint in their jobs on a daily basis will find a lot of help here. If you have any questions about the conference, feel free to ask. Click here to get more details, and register online.
I’ll look forward to meeting many of my readers there!
