Lawrence - You used the phrase "higher thinkers". Don't be looking for "deep" things in this book. I think the first time I read it, that's what I was looking for. Most of the techniques he writes about are incredibly simple and low-level. This was a bit of a turn-off to me. I saw it as a book of amateurish tricks two yeas ago. This time, however, I saw it as a book of techniques that can add some extra supporting structure to my existing GTD implementation. I think people will get more out of it by simpley lowering their expectations. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the review. I'll definitely pick up Mark's book next time I'm out and about. I hadn't heard of this book and I liked the fact you pointed out how disinterested you were initially in the book until after doing GTD for a few years. Makes me believe, along with your review, that the book is written more for us higher thinkers (in regards to organization and efficiency anyway). I'm especially interested in his take on schedules versus programs, and that mysterious Chapter 13 that eludes us all.
